getdp software package provides general environment for the treatment of discrete problems, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install getdp
getdp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the getdp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep getdp *
You will get with getdp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
